Okay, so it doesn't really feel like Fall in Vienna right now. The days are wonderfully warm, the scents in the air are more sunscreen than pumpkin spice, but Fall writing workshops do not care about the weather! It is a mindset, back to school, time to learn something new, a final burst to achieve the goals that were set back in January.
Write Now (the writing organization I co-founded here in Vienna) is offering some very useful and exciting workshops in October and November.
First up, running the weekend of October 13/14, 2018 from 2:00-5:00 pm, is Copywriting Intensive. This workshop, taught by professional journalist and copywriter, Matthew Campelli, is for beginners as well as more seasoned writers, for those wanting to learn what it takes to become a copywriter, and for those who want some professional tips to gain more clients. It is a fabulous workshop that has already run in the Spring, and is back by popular demand. This is what of the participants had to say about it:

The perfect compliment to Copywriting is Brand Journalism, which runs the weekend of November 10/11, 2018 from 2:00-5:00 pm. This workshop is also taught by Matthew. So what exactly is Brand Journalism and why would I want to take a workshop in it? So glad you asked! This is what Matthew says, "More objective storytelling, valuable content and thought-leadership is what captures the interest of modern buyers. That’s why large corporations are hiring trained journalists, building their own newsrooms and developing brand journalism strategies as part of their marketing plans."
Brand Journalism is the new and improved PR. Don't be left behind, if you write content, work in communications, or online marketing, then this workshop is a must!
For those of you who want a writing workshop that will require you to delve a little deeper into your own soul, then Writing into the Darkness, with award winning writer Kirstin Zhang, is for you. Kirstin has done several workshops for us and she always receives great praise from the participants. This workshop is for anyone writing creative fiction or non-fiction, who wants to know how to find the purpose of their piece and use that emotional core to engage the reader. This workshop runs on October 21, 2018 from 2:00-5:00 pm.
